Privacy Policy

Vyb is operated by Vyb Solutions, Malé, Maldives. Vyb gives businesses ("merchants") an online shop, till and payment tools. Each merchant is responsible for the orders and customers of their own shop.

• Merchants: name, email, phone, shop details, plan and billing history.
• Shoppers: name, phone, delivery address and order details entered at checkout.
• Products, stock, sales and reports each merchant adds to their shop.
• Basic technical data such as device type and pages visited, used to keep the service working.

We never see or store full card numbers, expiry dates or CVV codes. Card payments are entered on the Bank of Maldives secure page and Swipe payments in the Swipe app. We only receive a payment reference, the amount and whether it succeeded. Merchants' payment gateway keys are stored privately and are never shown in the browser or app.

A merchant can only see their own products, orders and customers. Other merchants cannot access them.

• To run shops, process orders and payments, and issue receipts.
• To bill merchant subscriptions and send account notices.
• To prevent fraud and meet tax and accounting obligations.
• To answer support requests.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

Only where needed: with the bank or Swipe for payments, with the merchant you order from, and where the law requires it.

We use cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart and keep checkout secure.

Account and order records are kept while the account is open and afterwards for the period required for tax purposes.

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion of your account by emailing contact@vyb.mv. Records we must keep by law are kept until that period ends.
